Jo-Hanna has practiced law in Seattle, Washington, since 1976. Most of her current law practice involves representing adult and child survivors of sexual, emotional, and/or physical abuse. She has successfully litigated and settled many claims on behalf of childhood sexual abuse survivors and victims of domestic violence. She also represents people hurt by harmful actions of therapists, teachers, counselors, pastors and other authority figures. Some of these cases include claims against government agencies, schools, churches and other institutions for their failure to take appropriate care in counseling or looking after children or adults.
Jo-Hanna also represents people injured in automobile collisions and other events.
In addition, Jo-Hanna frequently acts as a Guardian ad Litem for minors and incapacitated adults who are involved in personal injury litigation.
